They now make this kit to make a Gingerbread House. They have probably had these out for years, but this is the first year I have ever seen one. Everything comes baked and put together. Your job is to decorate the house as you wish. All of the things you need to do the decorating come with the kit. Amber and Megan received a kit to make their own Gingerbread House this past weekend during a family Christmas with Grandpa's side of the family. Today, the girls enjoyed decorating their own house. It's amazing what a mess two little girls can make with tubes of icing. But, the mess has been cleaned up and the final product is sitting on our table to admire the rest of this holiday season.

Tanner's a splashin'
Last time Tanner had a bath, I realized that the hammock that was in his little tub had shrunk a bit. Well, actually I guess Tanner has just grown that much. So, this bath, I decided to take it off. This was the first bath he had just in the little tub. He was submerged in the water and a lot freer than he has ever been. He had an absolute blast. He stayed in the tub for 20 minutes splashing and jumping around. Finally the girls and daddy came in to watch. It was a little distracting, but he kept right on playing.

Won't someone play with me??
I was in the kitchen when I hear, "No one has a choice, you all need to play with me!" I was busy cooking dinner. Amber was working on her spelling. Todd was emptying the camper from his weekend of hunting. Megan was left to fend for herself. Well, not for long. She decided that Tanner was going to play with her. They played Go Fish. Isn't it cute?

Kiddo update
Tanner went to the doctor today for his 2 month check up. He now weighs 12 lbs 2 oz and is 23 inches long. I can't believe how fast he is growing. He has almost doubled in size...just shy a few ounces.

Our "Pooh" went Trick or Treating with his big sisters, but stayed in the stroller the whole time. It was quite chilly that night.
Amber is enjoy 2nd grade a lot. You wouldn't believe what a 2nd grader does in Zionsville. Not only does she have 20 spelling words and math tests, she also has vocabulary tests. She has to memorize the definitions for 8 or more words.
Amber was Sharpay from High School Musical for Halloween. Her friend Mary went with us. We trick or treated at Grandma's house.
Megan is LOVING Kindergarten. She wants to learn to read so badly. I keep telling her that by the end of the year she will be reading, but it's not good enough. She is also learning to read site words. Where has the time gone? My little girl is in school wanting to read!
Megan was Gabriella from High School Musical. She has on a pretty white dress that floats when she spins.
